Sr Analyst, FP&A

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Analyst, FP&A to join Dollarama. This role combines operational reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis, while supporting multiple business partners across the organization. The successful candidate will have regular exposure to senior management and contribute to key financial decisions through ad hoc analysis, governance processes, and business case reviews.

Key Accountabilities

 •    Produce and analyze operational reporting (weekly, period, and quarterly), including KPIs and performance drivers.
•    Prepare and analyze financial results, including variance analysis versus budget 
•    Play a key role in the budget process, including scenario modeling and presentation to the BOD
•    Deliver ad hoc financial and operational analyses to support senior management decision making.
•    Act as a finance partner to other departments for data requests, insights, and analytical support.
•    Participate in governance and business case reviews, including ROI analysis and recommendations.
•    Prepare clear, concise presentations for senior leadership.
•    Continuously improve reporting processes and analytical tools.

Job Requirements

•    5+ years of experience in FP&A, operational finance, or a related analytical role.
•    CPA designation (or in progress) preferred.
•    Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem solving skills.
•    Excellent presentation and communication skills.
•    Comfortable working in ad hoc environment with senior management exposure.
•    Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or similar tools are an asset.
•    Retail or operations focused finance experience is an asset.
