Intern, Human Resources
Job Summary
The position holder will provide support to members of the Human Resources team. The person will be responsible for daily tasks and will coordinate various HR files. The intern will be involved in different HR areas such as employee relations, performance management, internal investigations, and may be called upon to intervene in the store.
Key Accountabilities
• Support the processing and follow-up of employee concerns or complaints, ensuring proper documentation and escalation when needed
• Participate in coordinating internal investigations (harassment, discrimination, conflicts), including gathering information, scheduling meetings, and preparing files
• Provide administrative follow-up for disciplinary cases and performance improvement plans
• Update and maintain employee files and HR databases
• Produce HR reports and perform various administrative follow-ups
• Participate in various HR projects
• Provide any other support required by the Human Resources team as needed
Job Requirements
• College diploma in administration or a related field
• Two (2) years of experience in a similar position
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to produce various reports
• Resourcefulness and autonomy
• Ability to manage multiple requests under tight deadlines
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
• Knowledge of SAP and Kronos, an asset
• Proficiency in French (spoken and written); English is an asset
