Intern, Health & Safety
Job Summary
Based at the Head Office, and under the supervision of the Health and Safety Advisor, the Health and Safety Intern will be primarily responsible for supporting Dollarama stores, Head Office, and at the Distribution Center, in matters related to health, safety, and disability management.
Key Accountabilities
- Contribute to the implementation and follow‑up of prevention and participation mechanisms (QC);
- Support the management of CNESST / Ministry of Labour inspections;
- Assisting in the management of CNESST claims;
- Support the return‑to‑work process and disability case management;
- Assist with the management of Safe Maternity Experience Program (PMSD) files;
- Assist in updating and improving training materials; and
- Perform any other related tasks.
Job Requirements
- Background or education in Human Resources or related;
- Experience in retail (asset);
- Knowledge of OHS laws and regulations (asset);
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint;
- Sense of urgency and strong ability to manage priorities;
- Resourcefulness, autonomy, ability to develop good relationships; and
- Bilingual - French & English
