Developer, SAP ABAP

Job Summary

The ABAP Developer is responsible for maintaining existing applications and developing new functionalities. The incumbent works under the supervision of the ABAP Programming Team Lead and collaborates closely with functional analysts across the MM, SD, FICO, WM, POSDM, and HR modules.

Key Accountabilities

•    Participate in the development of new applications in SAP ECC and SAP FIORI.
•    Write, modify, integrate, and test code for new applications.
•    Contribute to the enhancement of existing applications and ensure their ongoing maintenance.
•    Collaborate with the techno-functional analyst team to design and implement effective solutions.
•    Participate in software improvement and optimization initiatives.
•    Provide technical expertise on various projects.
•    Plan and execute development projects.
•    Optimize program performance.
•    Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
•    Keep technical knowledge and skills up to date.

Job Requirements

•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
•    Strong knowledge of SAP.
•    Experience with SAP FIORI development.
•    Experience working with database systems.
•    Knowledge of web application development.
•    Knowledge of transactional applications.
•    Good understanding of office productivity tools and ERP systems.
•    Knowledge of SQL is an asset.
•    Knowledge of SAP Retail is an asset.
•    Knowledge of MM, WM, SD, FICO, and POSDM modules is an asset.
•    Experience with SAP PI/PO is an asset.
