Coordinator, Loss Prevention (evening shift)
Job Summary
The coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day support of loss prevention initiatives in support of the supply chain and ensuring a safe and secure environment. The main focus will include the following: Overseeing day-to-day safety operations, coordinating and ensuring emergency preparedness, resolving safety and loss prevention issues, implementing loss prevention tools and strategies, and conducting safety audits and follow-up. The coordinator will work closely with operational departments to coordinate site physical security requirements and budget oversight.
Key Accountabilities
- Act as the point of contact for the security/loss prevention department for the supply chain sector.
- Supervise the team of security officers for the sector.
- Execute, document and monitor the sector audit program.
- Visit warehouses and exploit existing tools to assess and correct problems and poor practices.
- Prepare action plans to ensure follow-up of observed deficiencies.
- Train operations team in safety and loss prevention, attending area management meetings and loss prevention team meetings.
- Support the change management process to ensure safety strategies are in place for existing and new business processes.
- Collaborate with external partners, including security agencies, consultants, law enforcement, suppliers, building administrators and owners.
- Support department-initiated investigations into potential fraud, as well as risks and threats to the business.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and propose new solutions to adapt strategies to meet new challenges.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or college degree in a related field.
- 5 to 10 years' experience in safety or loss prevention, ideally acquired in the distribution sector.
- Demonstrate a solid track record of achieving results in a high-growth, results-oriented environment.
- Strategic and tactical capabilities.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good computer knowledge and skills (especially Excel).
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
