Business Analyst, Supply Chain Projects
Job Summary
Working within the Project Management Office in a dynamic environment, the Business Analyst is responsible for identifying supply chain and logistics management needs (warehouses, distribution centers and transportation) and exploring possible solutions, taking into account best practices as well as various constraints. He/she participates actively in the project life cycle: analysis, presentations, planning, implementation, training and operations support.
Key Accountabilities
- Gather, analyze and document business needs;
- Map processes;
- Analyze data and prepare presentations to support decision-making;
- Propose and recommend value-added solutions to meet needs;
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders;
- Assist in the deployment and execution of tasks to deliver projects on time;
- Prepare and deliver user training;
- Provide post-implementation support;
- Contribute to other team members' projects as required and prioritized;
- Perform all other related tasks.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration (Operations Management specialization, an asset) or Information Technology;
- Two (2) years' relevant experience in a similar position or in consulting;
- Bilingualism (French and English), spoken and written;
- Very good command of Excel and Powerpoint;
- Knowledge of Visio, AutoCAD, SAP, Power Query, Power BI, an asset;
- Experience in large-scale supply chain and logistics projects, an asset.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to use time efficiently, manage priorities and meet deadlines;
- Excellent ability and motivation to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes and to work under pressure with stakeholders from different levels and departments;
- Ability to learn computerized systems quickly;
- Demonstrate leadership, autonomy and versatility;
- Customer service orientation and ability to understand internal customer issues;
- Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
