Business Analyst, Mobile Solutions
Job Summary
This unique position offers you the opportunity to contribute to a variety of dynamic digital projects, ranging from the development of innovative mobile tools to the optimization of in-store processes. As a business analyst, you will have the chance to play a central role in the organization’s transformation, working on high-impact initiatives that improve operational efficiency, both in Canada and within our operations in Central America and Australia. You will help shape the future of the company by proposing and implementing creative solutions that will have a tangible impact on our collective performance.
The business analyst must be able to analyze business needs to identify solutions focused on our digital platforms, considering best practices as well as various constraints, ensuring minimal operational impact. They will be fully involved in the project lifecycle: analysis, development, UAT, implementation, and post-implementation support as needed. Users can include stores as well as different internal departments of the company. The analyst also coordinates with both external and internal resources involved in delivering their projects.
Their mandate will mainly focus on a set of digital projects, but they may also work on various in-store projects. Projects may occasionally take place at Dollar City in Central America and impact our operations at The Reject Shop.
Key Accountabilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business needs
- Lead workshops and manage project-related communications
- Propose value-added solutions to meet needs, leveraging available technologies (Mobile iOS, Android, ERP SAP, ServiceNow)
- Participate in the selection of external tools
- Contribute to the UI/UX design of chosen solutions
- Collaborate with SAP development teams
- Determine and participate in deployment strategies
- Lead the preparation and execution of user training
- Provide post-implementation support
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and process-oriented
- Leadership, autonomy, and versatility
- Experience in a digital environment is an asset
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Willingness to travel occasionally for work
